About the position

YBMG is a long-standing and successful property management group seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry/Purchasing Clerk to join our Purchasing Department. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes across multiple properties located in various states. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our purchasing procedures. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to facilitate the approval and processing of purchase orders. In this role, you will be tasked with inputting and printing purchase orders for multiple properties, obtaining necessary approvals, and ensuring that all documentation is accurately faxed and scanned to the appropriate locations. You will also be responsible for matching receivers to purchase orders, opening and date-stamping incoming mail, and compiling invoices, purchase orders, and receivers for processing. Additionally, you will input invoices into our MAS system for payment and track usage on Excel spreadsheets, which requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of data entry processes. Responsibilities

  • Input and print Purchase Orders for multiple properties in multiple states

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of prior work experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Data Entry skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft programs (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of purchasing procedures
