The Data Entry Representative at Sonic Healthcare USA plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely data entry into information systems from various source documents. Responsibilities

• Prepares and sorts patient requisitions, identifying and interpreting data for entry into the information system.
• Researches websites for missing patient insurance information and contacts referring physicians' offices for missing patient demographics or insurance information.
• Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from patient requisitions and insurance cards into the information system following the displayed format.
• Enters client information, patient demographics, clinical history, specimen gross description, billing type, and patient insurance information accurately.
• Handles inbound and outbound calls to clients professionally, aiming to increase business and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of six (6) months data entry experience.
• Knowledge of transcription and/or medical billing is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
