About the position

The Data Entry Support position at Telnet-Inc is focused on managing the geographic information system (GIS) for the Bureau of Parks & Conservation. The role involves producing maps, contributing to GIS projects, and developing custom GIS tools and solutions to support data-driven decision-making within the Bureau. The successful candidate will work closely with the GIS Manager and various stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's geographic information system.
• Produce maps and other deliverables as requested.
• Contribute to GIS projects, including building custom GIS tools and solutions.
• Apply spatial analysis techniques as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of relevant work experience in GIS.
• Proficiency with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Proficiency in creating, editing, managing, and publishing GIS feature data.
• Working knowledge of geospatial analysis methods and ESRI GIS applications development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Avenza MAPublisher.
• Working knowledge of Arcade and/or JavaScript programming for GIS applications and API integration.
