About the position

The Data Flow and Routing Senior Associate Systems Engineer at Peraton is responsible for facilitating the management of data flows associated with a significant High Performance Computing (HPC) program. This role involves providing systems engineering expertise in various technical areas, including commercial cloud technologies and enterprise architecture, to support national security objectives. The engineer will work closely with the government customer to ensure successful implementation and modernization of data flow solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a data flow and routing solutions (DFRS) systems engineering team.
• Manage Jira ticket queue for development lab requests.
• Provide overall system engineering expertise in architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design, and testing for the program.
• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Document and diagram interfacing systems.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with poly required.
• A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience, OR
• A Master's degree OR PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
