About the position

Amentum is seeking a Data Fusion Coordinator to support the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Operations Directorate. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and articulating requirements for operational execution, focusing on the integration of various military operations and data strategies to enhance joint targeting and mission effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate Joint Fires and Intel corroborated data for battle management command and control systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders to synthesize sensor-to-shooter kill webs.
  • Collaborate with operational, intelligence, cyber, and other experts to develop data strategies and fusion objectives.
  • Utilize advanced data fusion techniques to maximize operational mission value.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving capabilities and threats in the information environment.
  • Work with other Departments and Agencies to enhance community interest and create operational effects.
  • Advocate for the organization's data strategy in joint targeting coordination efforts.
  • Assess the effectiveness of data fusion methods and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Author data fusion-specific documentation, including reports and analyses.
  • Brief senior leadership on the status of the data fusion program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of experience, or Master's Degree with at least 5 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • At least 3 years of experience in military operations.
  • 10 or more years of combined experience in military operations with a focus on kinetic and non-kinetic fires and targeting/Intel.
  • Experience in data fusion, intelligence analysis, or advanced analytical roles.
  • Knowledge of Joint Fires targeting, intel processes, principles, and methods.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
  • At least 12 years of experience supporting the DoD, including 5 years in military operations.
  • 5 years of experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • Experience in a senior military staff office or military plans.
