Advantage Tech is seeking a Data Governance & Access Management Engineer for our client in Kansas City. This role is pivotal in developing, operating, and maintaining Access Management systems globally across various Data platforms. The engineer will be responsible for recommending, implementing, and maintaining appropriate tools and technologies related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) for Data platforms. A key aspect of this position is to drive the data security strategy across data platforms through a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) framework, ensuring that data access governance is transparent, auditable, and accountable. The engineer will also focus on standardizing definitions and fostering collaboration across teams. In this role, the engineer will define, drive, and implement a comprehensive data access and security framework across Data products. They will support Identity Governance and Identity Lifecycle management products, ensuring oversight and delivery of strategic initiatives for Access Management. This includes protecting against and responding to cyber threats from both external and internal actors. The engineer will provide strategic guidance and leadership for the Technology organization and the business overall, ensuring the day-to-day successful operations of end-user related software and hardware. The engineer will analyze system performance to review operating costs, efficiency levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics. They will establish policies and procedures to support new technology initiatives and identify new technology solutions while staying updated on current technologies and trends. This position requires a dynamic and proven data engineer with extensive experience in leading web and data application delivery teams, access management, cybersecurity, and business and technology planning, while providing strategic vision to the team and organization.
