About the position

The Data Governance Analyst at ERP International, LLC will support a Department of Defense (DoD) customer by leveraging a strong background in data governance and data analysis. This role involves collaborating with end users and technical teams to develop data governance work-products, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for improvement in data management. The position is integral to ensuring effective data governance practices are in place to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with end users and technical teams to develop data governance work-products.
• Analyze business processes and data needs to understand and manage current organizational data governance needs.
• Identify gaps, duplications, and redundancies in data management and propose opportunities for improvement.
• Identify impacts and dependencies across current and future data requirements.
• Collaborate with business owners to define target goals and propose alternative data governance solutions.
• Develop work plans to achieve target goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional work experience with an understanding of data analysis and data governance.
• Experience with mapping processes or workflows and developing documentation.
• Experience researching complex data and data governance requirements.
• Ability to collect and analyze information and identify gaps in processes to recommend improvements.
