Live Nation Entertainment is the world's leading live entertainment and eCommerce company, comprised of four market leaders: Ticketmaster.com, Live Nation Concerts, Front Line Management Group, and Live Nation Network. The Core Data Services organization serves primarily internal customers, including business units and analytics teams across the entire Live Nation enterprise. Within this organization, the Governance Team is responsible for establishing data standards and maintaining quality definitions, catalogs, and best practices to create the data solutions required to serve artists, fans, and the business. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in establishing a scalable Governance practice. This includes building standards, training other organizations that interact with company data, and directly writing and editing data definitions, table comments, and knowledge base articles. You will drive strategic thinking and cross-functional alignment around data-driven approaches to optimize data discoverability and management. Your responsibilities will also include exploring data across the business and providing analyses, making you a key partner with cross-functional stakeholders to better understand users and internal customers, ultimately creating a scalable Governance process. In this role, you will ensure that every line of business and product team knows how to contribute to the shared Enterprise Data Model. You will provide a framework and delivery of Data Governance across data domains, stay abreast of technology and practice trends, and create proof of concepts to lead adoption for data discovery. Understanding the live entertainment landscape and Live Nation's business processes will be essential to enable data discovery for all stakeholders. You will develop, validate, and drive the implementation of the organization's Data Standards in collaboration with Data Producers and Data Consumers, continuously working across the business to evaluate data governance-related processes for improvement. Additionally, you will promote a data-driven culture and good data practices within the organization, act as a primary contributor for the Metadata repositories, and manage their health and wellbeing. Your role will also involve writing and maintaining documentation, exploring company data for potential duplication and quality issues, and driving continuous improvements to products, tools, and processes by sharing learnings and feedback with internal technical and analytics teams. You will actively seek best industry practices through building relationships within the industry and attending relevant events.
