About the position

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance Analyst to join our team at RUHI Enterprises Inc. in Richmond, VA. This role is crucial for focusing on audit response, IT process improvement, standardization, reporting, and compliance risk minimization. The Analyst will play a key role in assisting with issue resolution, operationalizing governance practices, and creating and socializing IT governance artifacts. Additionally, this position will help extend the scope of ITD Governance, Security Architecture, and Process Improvement, ensuring that IT services align with enterprise business goals and agency guidance. The IT Governance Analyst will provide support for technical review and compliance reporting for IT Change Management and Project Delivery processes. This includes assisting in technical writing and review for the division's flagship governance documents and policies, supporting security policy interpretation, reporting, and training. The Analyst will also assist in IT audit response and audit finding remediation efforts, contributing to the augmentation of a governance model for ITD's critical processes. This role requires a strong understanding of IT governance and compliance best practices, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for IT services, aligning IT investments with enterprise business goals and agency guidance.
  • Support technical review and compliance reporting for IT Change Management and Project Delivery processes.
  • Assist in technical writing and review for the division's flagship governance documents and policies.
  • Support security policy interpretation, reporting, and training.
  • Assist in IT audit response and audit finding remediation efforts.
  • Contribute to the augmentation of a governance model for ITD's critical processes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience in IT audit response (5 years).
  • Demonstrated knowledge in IT Change Management processes (5 years).
  • Experience with drafting business or executive-centered briefs, presentations, and reports (5 years).
  • Knowledge in SharePoint Online repository management (3 years).
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to balance time and effort across multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of IT audit and compliance response processes.
  • Understanding of IT governance and compliance best practices and tools, with a willingness to learn Commonwealth or Agency implementation.
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a fast-paced, team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the Commonwealth of Virginia (2 years).
