About the position

The Data Governance and Analytics Analyst role is focused on enhancing data management and reporting processes within the AML KYC space. This position involves creating executive reports, automating processes, and maintaining standard reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs). The analyst will work closely with regional leaders and teams across different time zones to ensure effective communication and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Understand data and create executive reports.
  • Automate processes and maintain standard reporting.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs within AML processes.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting across GCIB and GM AML teams.
  • Interface with regional leaders to determine scope and structure for reports, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Cross-train with the team on various business controls functions to support lines of business during US business hours.
  • Transition knowledge base and reporting capabilities to provide global coverage for GM/GCIB.
  • Manage capacity planning and headcount reporting.
  • Create revenue and CV dashboards.
  • Perform BAU and ad-hoc reporting for restrictions, closures, and extensions.
  • Work with regional leaders to scope and build reports for restrictions and closures globally.
  • Create new views using Tableau and Excel for accurate ongoing reports.
  • Modify dashboards as requested and transition M&I defect reporting for GM/GCIB.
  • Accurately identify, track, update, and report defects for GM/GCIB.
  • Manage restrictions and closures related to M&I processes, ensuring compliance and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regional leads to address and resolve M&I issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Refresh population re-baseline and create reports for executive leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in data governance and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of AML KYC processes and reporting.
  • Ability to create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with regional leaders and teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with client reporting and workflow tools such as Panther, AWARE, and COLT.
  • Familiarity with capacity planning and headcount reporting.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $90,000-$140,000 based on experience and qualifications.
