Responsibilities

  • Lead diverse teams across geographies to deliver data and analytics services.
  • Define data and analytics strategies and perform assessments.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in technical and business approaches.

  • Initiate thought leadership through white papers and proof of concepts.
  • Manage project delivery and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, computer science, business, economics, finance, statistics, and/or analytics).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in banking, capital markets, insurance or asset management in a Data Scientist or Business Intelligence role.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a team.
  • Superior communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Experience presenting analytical conclusions to senior officials and stakeholders.
  • Proven application of advanced analytical and statistical methods in financial services.
  • Practical experience in leading teams through a product life cycle.
  • Experience with data management, architecture, analysis, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAS, R, Python, Tableau, and various database technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Experience monitoring performance and reporting for business initiatives.
  • Experience quantifying results to the business.
