About the position

The Data Governance Associate role is focused on delivering the People Data governance framework, standards, policies, and practices necessary for the enterprise to achieve its strategic and tactical goals. This position involves improving data accuracy across the business and enhancing the use of data for business insights and decision-making. The associate will provide guidance on data accessibility, retrievability, and protection while supporting data transformation processes. The role requires substantial personal responsibility and autonomy, with the ability to influence colleagues and oversee routine work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the People Data governance framework, standards, policies, and practices.
• Improve the accuracy of data across the business.
• Enhance the use of data to drive business insights and decision-making.
• Provide guidance on data accessibility, retrievability, and protection.
• Support the transformation of information from one format/medium to another.
• Perform risk assessments and manage identified risks in compliance with Cyber Security Standards.
• Interact with and influence colleagues across various teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of assurance, legal compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in project management and implementing business change.
• Experience in reporting, data collection, and analytics.
