The Configuration Management Technical Lead (CML) will serve on the Enterprise Configuration Management team, responsible for the centralized process governance and ownership of Huntington's Configuration Management program. This program ensures the creation of, adherence to, and reporting of deviations from configuration baselines for all of Huntington's IT owned assets. The CML will collaborate with the Configuration Management Process Lead to establish governance around the necessary data management to meet process governance requirements and goals. Additionally, the CML will assist in the decision-making process regarding tools that support Huntington's overall fleet management strategy, including Automation & Orchestration tooling such as Ansible and Puppet. This role requires a strong understanding of IT Engineering, although it is not an engineering position. The CML will manage day-to-day governance activities of the Configuration Management process for in-scope IT Assets to ensure compliance with Huntington's standards. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maturing configuration management practices, solutions, and controls to support the Configuration Management roadmap. As a stakeholder in the Configuration Management 2.0 Program, the CML will provide technical subject matter expertise to the Program Manager and in-scope platform resources to ensure timely delivery of program goals. The CML will evaluate and onboard additional platforms to increase enterprise coverage and build a roadmap for future initiatives. The role also involves improving and maintaining baseline approval processes in partnership with InfoSec architects and risk partners, providing guidance to IT Asset owners on drift reporting and mitigation processes, and maturing ServiceNow workflows and data structures. The CML will optimize governed processes with an emphasis on automation, enhance reporting capabilities, and increase visibility through dashboards and metrics presentations. The CML will continually evaluate standards and controls for compliance, direct audits of the process, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Training IT Asset owners in support of Configuration Management and championing process improvements across the enterprise are also key responsibilities.
