As a stakeholder in the Configuration Management 2.0 Program, the CML will provide technical subject matter expertise to the Program Manager and in-scope platform resources to ensure timely delivery of program goals. The CML will evaluate and onboard additional platforms to increase enterprise coverage and build a roadmap for future initiatives. The role also involves improving and maintaining baseline approval processes in partnership with InfoSec architects and risk partners, providing guidance to IT Asset owners on drift reporting and mitigation processes, and maturing ServiceNow workflows and data structures. The CML will optimize governed processes with an emphasis on automation, enhance reporting capabilities, and increase visibility through dashboards and metrics presentations. The CML will continually evaluate standards and controls for compliance, direct audits of the process, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Training IT Asset owners in support of Configuration Management and championing process improvements across the enterprise are also key responsibilities.
