About the position

The Data Governance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and governance of data within the Data Governance office and Enterprise Data & Analytics teams. This position involves maintaining and designing data quality frameworks, integrating various data sources, and ensuring effective data management practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with governance tools and cloud technologies, as well as strong programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and design data quality frameworks.
• Integrate cloud and on-prem data sources with data catalogs.
• Ensure effective quality data management within the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data governance practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Governance Engineer.
• Proficient in data governance tools and platforms such as Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview.
• Strong Azure cloud experience.
• Senior experience with Python and/or SQL.
• Effective stakeholder and collaboration skills.
