About the position

The Data Governance Lead will support the development and implementation of a data governance center of excellence focused on investment data management. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and quality of investment data through the establishment of governance policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee day-to-day management of data governance policies and processes for investment data.
• Manage investment data ownership and review data usage requests to ensure compliance with governance policies.
• Influence engagement of investment data consumers to promote adherence to governance policies.
• Execute efforts to maintain high standards of data quality.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with strategic partners across the enterprise, including the Enterprise Data Governance Program & Privacy group and the Enterprise Risk Management group.
• Implement cost-effective solutions for data capture.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance and management, particularly in investment data.
• Strong understanding of data quality standards and best practices.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in developing and implementing governance policies and processes.
