Driven Brands is excited to welcome a bright, experienced, meticulous, and driven Data Governance Lead to manage our data governance initiatives. In this newly created position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of our data assets. You will work closely with data stewards, IT, legal, and business units to establish a robust data governance program that supports the organization's strategic objectives. As a Data Governance Lead, you will analyze large quantities of data and develop reports on the overall performance of business segments. You will develop metrics to measure various characteristics of the business and combine a proficient level of understanding of how the business operates with analytical ability to sift effectively through data available. This role requires overlaying all this with the technical competency to illustrate this analysis to senior-level stakeholders and the wider business. You will model advanced methods of combining charts, maps, timelines, and infographics into comprehensible dashboards. This may include creating visualizations of complex relationships and big data sets in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate business decision-making. You will be a seasoned professional with a full understanding of your area of specialization, resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways. In this role, you will provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You will demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, normally receiving little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments. You will determine and develop approaches to solutions, frequently interacting with both internal and external customers. Additionally, you may represent the organization on projects and perform in a project leadership role, supervising the activities of lower-level personnel as needed.
