This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity, security, and effective management of data across all levels of the organization. You will be tasked with establishing data governance goals and metrics to measure the effectiveness and maturity of data governance initiatives, as well as overseeing data stewardship programs to ensure accountability and ownership of data assets throughout the company. In this position, you will implement data quality management processes, which include data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques. Collaboration with various business units will be key to defining and maintaining data definitions, hierarchies, and relationships. You will facilitate cross-functional data governance committees and working groups to promote collaboration and alignment across the organization, while also communicating data governance policies, standards, and best practices to stakeholders at all levels. As a leader, you will mentor a team of data governance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making. You will identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of your team, ensuring that they are well-equipped to meet departmental goals and contribute to the overall success of Talking Rain.
