At Allianz Life, we are seeking a Data Governance Projects & Strategic Planning Manager to join our team and lead the data literacy and data & AI communication efforts for the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our department is aligned on data & AI initiatives and that the broader organization is aware of learning opportunities related to these areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication plan that effectively conveys our data & AI efforts to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this role will involve reporting to Allianz SE on our data & AI initiatives and managing special projects within the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management, organization, and communication skills, along with a proven track record of leading strategic projects. This position requires a strong background in program management and project leadership, as the manager will lead multiple projects that are diverse in objective and scope. These projects often span several business areas and stakeholders, necessitating effective management and prioritization alongside other initiatives. The manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality execution from inception to completion. In addition to project management, the role involves strategic planning, where the manager will assist leadership in aligning business needs with budget allocation, resource optimization, and prioritization relative to value. The manager will serve as a resource to management, recommending solutions and facilitating decision-making that supports the strategic direction of the team. Regular reporting on program development, project status, key milestones, and results will also be a key responsibility, along with managing a comprehensive communication plan to foster awareness and alignment among stakeholders. Furthermore, the manager will consistently identify opportunities for workflow optimization and process improvements, maximizing the team's effectiveness. This role requires a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Continuous professional development to stay abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices is also expected.
