About the position

The Data Governance Senior Consultant at Infosys will lead and facilitate the data governance program for clients, focusing on metadata management, data cataloging, data quality, and process/workflow implementation across various sectors. This role emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a culture of learning, where diversity is valued and excellence is recognized.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data governance program for clients.
• Facilitate metadata management and data cataloging.
• Implement data quality processes and workflows across different verticals.
• Develop and maintain automated APIs and ETL pipelines that support data governance tools.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
• At least 2 years of experience in tactical implementation of data governance.
• At least 6 months of experience in Data Privacy.
• At least 2 years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of programming languages like Python and Java.
• Expert knowledge of Data Governance Processes, Policies & Framework.
• Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.
• Good understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data.
