About the position

The Data Governance Specialist at Tradeweb Markets LLC plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data assets. This position focuses on implementing and optimizing Collibra's data governance functionalities tailored to financial and regulatory data management, working closely with the Compliance Team to support various initiatives related to regulatory data requests and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Governance Lead to implement and optimize the usage of Collibra for financial and regulatory data management.
• Participate in Collibra-related activities, including data entry, cataloging, and creating data dictionaries for financial data assets.
• Establish and refine a comprehensive data governance framework tailored to financial and regulatory data governance needs.
• Monitor and analyze key data governance metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes relevant to financial and regulatory data governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in data governance, data management, or financial compliance roles.
• Proficiency in using Collibra or similar data governance tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial data concepts such as asset classes, financial instruments, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degrees or certifications in data management or financial compliance.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, such as Dodd-Frank, Basel III, and GDPR.
