About the position

We are on the lookout for a Data/Information Architect to join our team in CASTLE ROCK, Colorado. As part of this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cloud solutions on the Azure platform. The focus will be on creating robust, scalable, and secure data solutions that can handle the dynamic needs of our clients. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. In this position, you will design end-to-end data solutions on the Azure data platform, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and compliant. You will contribute to the technical foundation of the data lake platform and optimize the data ecosystem and pipeline architecture. Additionally, you will assist in designing and implementing an efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process for integrating data from multiple systems. You will work with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI to ensure seamless data flow and transformation. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key as you establish a data warehouse that ingests data from various integration processes. You will also model and store data effectively to meet storage and analytical needs, creating a Keystone data model suitable for use in Business Analytics tools. Furthermore, you will optimize data structures for efficient querying and reporting, ensuring the integration of data from systems like NetSuite, QuickBase, Gusto, and Budgets. Your expertise in Cloud Technologies, Database, DB2 Database, Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Data Architecture, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Azure, and Azure SQL Database will be crucial in enhancing our organization's data architecture capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data solutions on the Azure data platform, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and compliant

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Data/Information Architect.
• Expertise in Cloud Technologies is required.
• Proficiency in working with Database and DB2 Database.
• Experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) is necessary.
• Should be adept at preparing Business Requirement Document.
• Familiarity with Data Architecture is expected.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Azure, and Azure SQL Database is a must.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data management (e.g., permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build, install, and develop data architecture.
• Ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct errors.
