About the position

We are looking for a motivated computer engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on software design, implementation, and real-time data processing. The role involves analyzing complex manufacturing and scientific devices, devising a data collection and storage strategy, and implementing it to support data analytics and visualization for hard disk drive (HDD) media development, particularly in next-generation technologies like heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy programs to collect data from IoT devices, such as manufacturing and scientific tools for media development.
• Ensure high reliability of the processes, data integrity, and accuracy by implementing robust data validation and quality assurance practices.
• Add new features and perform maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers in the media organization to understand their data needs.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in coding in various forms, such as Python, C++, Java, SQL, etc.
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
