About the position

The Data Insights Analyst at AssistRx plays a crucial role in acquiring, managing, and analyzing data that is essential for internal teams, clients, and partners. This position is primarily focused on leading the onboarding of electronic data trading partners, ensuring the successful implementation of these partnerships. The Data Insights Analyst is also responsible for monitoring client data submissions and addressing any data quality issues that may arise. This role requires a proactive approach to data management and a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their data needs. In this position, the analyst will develop reports and analytics utilizing data from the data warehouse and Salesforce, employing tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau. The analyst will provide consultative insights by analyzing data to identify patterns and trends over time, comparing data from different categories to uncover relationships or correlations, and applying statistical analysis to highlight significant patterns. Visualizations and narrative descriptions will be used to provide context and explanations for the data, while outliers or anomalies will be investigated to determine their causes. Additionally, the analyst will review and perform quality assurance on data and reports before they are delivered to clients, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Direct communication with customers regarding their data needs and key deadlines is a critical aspect of this role. The analyst will also research and identify data quality issues, manage ongoing partner requests, and configure mapping tools to facilitate the translation of source data into the desired format. This includes testing tools and providing clear documentation to both internal resources and customers. As a resident expert on data requirements and specifications, the analyst will remain informed about ongoing changes in assigned program data specifications and lead web-based training sessions for clients and partners regarding these requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, manage, and analyze data for internal teams, clients, and partners.
  • Lead the onboarding of electronic data trading partners and ensure successful implementations.
  • Monitor client data submissions and resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop reports and analytics using data from the data warehouse and Salesforce with tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and trends over time.
  • Compare data from different categories to identify relationships or correlations.
  • Apply statistical analysis to identify patterns and relationships in the data.
  • Provide context and explanations for the data using visualizations and narrative descriptions.
  • Identify outliers or anomalies in the data and investigate their causes.
  • Review and QA data/report before it is provided to the client (internal/external).
  • Communicate directly with customers on data needs and key deadlines.
  • Research and identify data quality issues.
  • Manage ongoing partner requests and questions regarding data specifications.
  • Configure mapping tools to support translation from source data to desired format, including testing and documentation.
  • Act as a resident expert for data requirements/specifications internally and for the client as needed.
  • Remain informed about ongoing changes and evolution of assigned program data specs.
  • Lead client/partner web-based trainings regarding data specifications and requirements.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently without full direction.
  • Experience with Tableau and Salesforce reporting preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare and/or pharmacy data preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL is a must.
  • Previous client-facing experience is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure in crisis situations with a strong sense of urgency.
