About the position

The Data Integration Engineer will be responsible for acquiring mission-critical data that supports the company's latest product offerings. This role involves collaborating with customers, partners, and various teams to develop scalable and resilient cloud architectures, contributing to the creation of a new platform for diverse products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Study and understand details of internal systems
• Elicit integration requirements from stakeholders
• Learn and understand the details of external data connectors
• Design and implement data integrations
• Work and interact daily with an Agile team using Agile practices
• Showcase resilient designs through automated testing mechanisms
• Manage all aspects of technical assets professionally through source control and proper documentation.

Requirements

• Analysis of technical systems and interfaces
• Ability to implement integration validation mechanisms
• Ability to design data integrations using modern practices and patterns for scalability and availability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competency with various programming and scripting languages used for data integration
• Proficiency with data stores both relational and non-relational
• Basic data modeling and query skills with relational and non-relational data stores
• Proficiency with source control systems
• Competency with AWS Cloud structures

Nice-to-haves

• Scripting languages such as Ruby, Powershell, Python
• AS2 protocol integration experience
• XML experience in an integration scenario
• Database experience with table or document based functions
• Agile based team development experience
