About the position

The Data Integration Engineer at S2Technologies is responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of data from multiple sources into a unified system. This role involves designing and implementing ETL processes, optimizing data for reporting, and managing complex databases. The engineer will also oversee data loading operations and generate essential documentation related to data integration architecture and testing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing ETL jobs
• Optimizing data for extraction and reporting use
• Managing complicated databases by performing suitable database management functions
• Performing and overseeing data loading operations
• Generating functional and technical documentation, such as data integration architecture flows, source-to-target mappings, and test plans

Requirements

• Familiarity with ETL processes for data normalization, improving data quality and accessibility
• Experience with SQL, Python, and ETL tools
• Skilled in scripting with one or more languages (Java Script, Java, Python, etc.)
• Manage data flow and platforms
• Develop and maintain data integration pipelines to consolidate disparate data
• Proven problem-solving skills
• A talent for enhancement of the security, usability, performance, maintainability, and scalability of the environment
• A commitment to continuous learning and mentorship with a willingness to share knowledge, growing the team's capabilities
