About the position

Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC) is a CMMI Level III company that has provided technology and management solutions to commercial and government clients across the USA for 22 years. We are currently looking for a Data Integration Engineer. Essentially, we are looking for an experienced subject matter expert who knows data and how to process it regardless of type, size, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Specialization in integrating data from various sources such as Mongo DB, DataBricks, Informatica, Oracle etc.
• Be a Big Data Subject Matter Expert for the team and the customer
• Analyze requirements and Big Data datasets, design data processing solutions around technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, etc.
• Work with business analysts to gather business requirements from end-users and translate them into technical specifications
• Gather requirements to develop solutions, define data extraction, transformation logic, and data models, data flow, and process
• Ability to analyze databases, schemas, triggers, stored procedures
• Verify implemented solution whether requirements have been met
• Provide end-user support in post-deployment phases; assess and evaluate all feedback to ensure that the requirements necessary to correct issues are addressed.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of data processing experience
• Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management
