About the position

The Data Integration Senior Analyst role within the Controller System and Data Operations (CSDO) function is focused on enhancing data quality and supporting the execution of the Data Transformation Plan. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to address data challenges, improve data quality standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The analyst will play a key role in managing relationships, analyzing data issues, and contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing data processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings.
  • Examine and evaluate project status, identifying potential risks and issues that need escalation or change, and propose solutions to project leads.
  • Determine appropriateness, check quality, and guide revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums.
  • Manage day-to-day activities related to the overall program/project and associated dependencies.
  • Allocate/coordinate work within team or project group.
  • Support resolution of project issues by offering solutions to resolve complex problems and by interpreting and advising on policies, guidelines, or processes.
  • Liaise with multiple Data teams/departments, serving as subject matter expert for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes.
  • Independently conduct analysis and execute tasks that contribute to work streams focusing on a broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance, and taxonomy.
  • Develop and articulate business requirements and map current and future state processes.
  • Contribute tactically to strategic design and process improvement project implementation across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations and other support organizations.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Contribute to data quality resolution and data improvement initiatives, analyze issues, and review proposed solutions.
  • Support senior management's strategic vision and review quality analysis results.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years relevant experience in Banking or Finance preferred.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Ability to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
  • Familiarity with data concepts.
  • Effective communication skills, able to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Problem solving, analytical thinking, and risk-based mindset.
  • Knowledge of banking products and data mart processes is advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
