Fortinet is seeking a skilled Data Lake Architect and Researcher with a focus on cybersecurity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding the development of a robust data lake tailored to cybersecurity needs. This data lake will serve as a foundational resource for AI-driven threat intelligence, connecting several SaaS services and managed solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of the current cybersecurity landscape and the ability to design an architecture that is not only scalable and secure but also efficient in managing vast amounts of data from diverse sources. In this position, you will conduct in-depth research to identify and understand gaps in the current cybersecurity product landscape. You will analyze market trends, emerging threats, and technological advancements to propose necessary features and improvements. The architecture of the data lake must facilitate the integration, storage, and management of data, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and privacy laws. You will also work closely with AI teams and FortiGuard Threat Research Labs to ensure that the data lake supports advanced AI-driven analytics for generating threat intelligence and other cybersecurity applications. Collaboration is key in this role; you will engage with various stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and cybersecurity experts, to align the data lake development with organizational goals and user needs. Continuous improvement is essential, as you will monitor the performance and utility of the data lake, proposing and implementing enhancements to maintain its relevance and effectiveness in the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
