About the position

The Operations Analyst is a pivotal role within the Data and Insights Literacy team, responsible for ensuring that data resources and tools are accessible to the entire enterprise. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that it is continually updated and synchronized across various departments within the organization. The Operations Analyst will collaborate closely with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that all developed content and learning resources are effectively integrated into the LMS. This role also involves linking learning outcomes to performance systems, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the learning initiatives. Success in this role is measured by the efficiency and effectiveness of LMS administration, the optimization of learning experiences, and the overall enhancement of data literacy across the enterprise. The Operations Analyst will be tasked with tracking learner progress and providing comprehensive reporting on learning outcomes, which will be essential for linking these outcomes to performance metrics. Additionally, the analyst will monitor and evaluate current LMS strategies, making informed recommendations and leading the implementation of new LMS technologies and best practices. The role requires a proactive approach to working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and expansion of data-driven initiatives. By analyzing data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, the Operations Analyst will play a key role in improving the LMS and the overall learning experiences offered to employees, thereby fostering a culture of data literacy within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that data resources and tools are accessible to the enterprise
  • Maintain the LMS and synchronize LMS opportunities across different departments in the organization
  • Track learner progress and provide reporting on learning outcomes to link to performance systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data literacy and support workforce development initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate current LMS strategies, making recommendations and leading implementation of new LMS technologies and best practices
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities to improve the LMS and learning experiences, and to enhance data literacy across the enterprise
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve, innovate, and expand data-driven initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Information Technology, or at least 6 years of experience in data analysis, LMS administration, or learning and development
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and/or learning and development
  • Experience in managing an LMS or other similar learning technology platforms
  • Experience in project management, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and collaborating across stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Oracle Learning Cloud or MindTickle
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization Tools like Tableau and MicroStrategy
  • Experience with Performance Management Systems
  • Strong data analysis skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certifications (e.g., Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD)) preferred
