Under management of supervision, this role ensures the availability of data needed by the assigned business unit. You will work within a team to help create new processes and guidelines, assist with training, and monitor data or service quality while resolving issues. The position involves completing manual updates and informing the manager when larger automation needs arise that could enhance the work. You will also work on special projects as needed. In your daily work, you will provide support and information for reporting and data updates, monitor a variety of data checks to ensure accuracy, and communicate data trends and issues to your manager to help determine solutions. You will interact and coordinate with other departments to resolve questions and problems, assist the subject matter expert for data-related projects, and dedicate time to meeting with Business Units to scope out work. Additionally, you may create and produce reports as required to support business users at all levels and take on special projects and additional responsibilities as requested. You will work to find processes that enhance efficiencies within the team, assist in creating new processes, and resolve day-to-day issues by collaborating with your manager. You will also create guidelines and train peers on new efficiencies that the team has adopted.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or math-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 0-2+ years of Financial Services industry or data quality experience.
  • Experience using applications and/or technology systems currently used by the business.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to compare data from various sources.
  • Database knowledge and macro programming ability.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships within the team.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, partnership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment as well as exercising independent judgment.
