The Data Management Consultant role focuses on developing and executing a data management and governance program for the client. This position requires expertise in data architecture, design, and structure, and involves project-based work that includes creating metrics, drafting policies, and facilitating working groups. The consultant will assess data issues and provide solutions while effectively communicating complex data concepts to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop metrics for the data management program.
- Draft policies and procedures related to data governance.
- Facilitate working groups to enhance data management practices.
- Conduct deep dives into data issues to identify root causes.
- Map processes and data flows to improve data governance.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level data management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of data architecture, design, and structure.
- Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and Qlikview.
- Strong project management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with SharePoint and JADE.
