About the position

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Technical Product Analyst or Sr. Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in Data Management to join the Scientific Data Product Line team. This role is pivotal in enabling data engineers and data scientists to effectively onboard and transform research data onto a data platform designed for analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering insights from various stakeholders, including customers, the customer success team, and the support team, to enhance the user experience and journey necessary for product evolution. In this position, you will translate technical product developments into user-friendly manuals and marketing materials, ensuring that the information is accessible and beneficial for end-users. You will also act as a bridge between delivery squads, which include developers, testers, and support staff, to guarantee that new features delivered to customers meet the quality standards set forth by the company's software development lifecycle methodology. Additionally, you will design internal processes and best practices for gathering customer demand and improving the customer intake experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong motivation to learn new concepts and processes, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be able to quickly establish credibility and trust with a diverse range of stakeholders and advocate for new ideas effectively. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a globally distributed team. Responsibilities

  • Gather insights from customers, customer success team, and support team regarding the user experience and user journey necessary for product evolution.
  • Translate technical product evolution into customer-facing user manuals and marketing materials.
  • Bridge delivery squads (developers, testing, and support) to ensure new features delivered to customers meet quality standards in accordance with the company's software development lifecycle methodology.
  • Design internal processes and best practices for gathering demand from customers and customer intake experience.
  • Identify processes and features that are eligible candidates for innovation or improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Technical Business Analysis, Senior Business Analysis, or Product Analysis experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with stakeholders documentation, gathering requirements.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in delivering data-focused products.
  • Exposure to basic AWS Services like Redshift, S3, Glue, Sagemaker, etc.
  • Experience with a data platform and data management.
  • Experience with SDLC activities and exposure to Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with business process modeling and analysis, optimizing user experience.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and Airflow.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a regulated industry, particularly in the pharma industry.
  • Experience with developing data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
