About the position

The Data Metrics Transformation Program Lead SVP at Citi is responsible for driving the bank's transformation initiatives, focusing on modernizing and simplifying operations to enhance client experience and improve internal processes. This role involves overseeing the execution of critical metrics and analytics, ensuring data quality, and developing strategic plans for metrics and reporting. The position requires strong collaboration with senior leadership and various teams to ensure effective communication and problem-solving throughout the transformation process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence with established policies and milestone timelines for data gathering, data quality checks, metrics development, and reporting dashboards.
  • Coordinate data availability from applicable suppliers across the organization, escalating issues as needed.
  • Oversee metrics calculation in accordance with defined data sources and methodologies.
  • Review and analyze deliverables for accuracy and completeness, ensuring important information is well-positioned.
  • Own and manage prioritization of requests, deliverables, and projects related to metrics.
  • Develop and implement a communication strategy for stakeholders to facilitate effective feedback on metrics and reporting.
  • Devise creative solutions to overcome roadblocks and constraints in the reporting process.
  • Identify best practices to enhance efficiency in reporting execution.
  • Manage and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or revised metrics development methodologies.
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings regarding the evolution of metrics involvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in data analytics and program management.
  • Experience presenting to and communicating with senior leadership.
  • Expertise in data query, analytics, and visualization.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel and its data integration tools.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data quality, and data modeling (ETL).
  • Experience working with global teams and across various functions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a banking or financial services environment.
