The Data Management Analyst in Radiology is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the provision and maintenance of high-quality, easily accessible, and uninterrupted information services and systems within the Imaging Services division. This role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to imaging service networks, systems, and components at both the Northlake and Southlake campuses, as well as other offsite facilities. The analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of all imaging systems by assessing and resolving hardware and software problems, which includes the hospital infrastructure, client-servers, and stand-alone systems. A significant aspect of this position is to address calls that arise during evenings, nights, and weekends to minimize system downtime and ensure optimal system utilization. The analyst is also tasked with evaluating and recommending necessary hardware and software replacements and upgrades, both on assigned projects and as observed. Maintaining accurate inventory levels of supplies and parts is essential, along with keeping detailed records of usage, orders, and replacements. To provide complete and timely services, the analyst must maintain an up-to-date understanding of the overall structure and operations of the hospital infrastructure, including remote users, local area networks (LANs), stand-alone systems, and personal computers. This knowledge is crucial for delivering effective services, especially during critical off-hours. The role also involves maintaining comprehensive records of all assistance requests and project completions in accordance with imaging service policies and procedures. The analyst provides emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance to all system hardware components and is responsible for immediate responses to unexpected breakdowns that may cause system slowdowns or halts. Additionally, the analyst repairs imaging services system hardware, including personal computers, printers, data communication equipment, and related peripherals. Representing imaging services within and outside the hospital for all system-related activities is also a key responsibility, along with assisting in establishing continuing education on system functions for imaging services and other hospital personnel as needed.
