About the position

The Data Migration Architect will lead the migration of data management workflows from Informatica PowerCenter to Tibco EBX. This role is essential for ensuring a seamless and efficient transition while enhancing the organization's data management capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise data architecture and migration strategies, with a strong focus on optimizing data workflows and ensuring data integrity throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive migration roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, goals, and success criteria for the migration.
• Assess current workflows, data integration processes, and dependencies within Informatica PowerCenter.
• Design target architecture for Tibco EBX, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
• Lead the migration process, including data mapping, transformation, and validation between the two platforms.
• Implement best practices for ETL processes, data governance, and metadata management in Tibco EBX.
• Optimize workflows for performance and compliance in the target environment.
• Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to ensure smooth execution.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, addressing challenges and resolving issues during the migration.
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure data integrity and accuracy post-migration.
• Monitor and validate migrated processes to ensure operational readiness.
• Document migration procedures, configurations, and key decisions for future reference.
• Train internal teams on Tibco EBX capabilities, workflows, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in data management and integration, with at least 3 years in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Proven experience with Tibco EBX implementation or migration.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with Tibco EBX configuration, metadata management, and workflow design.
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and cloud platforms.
• Ability to manage large-scale data migration projects end-to-end.
• Proficient in data mapping, transformation logic, and debugging complex workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in Informatica or Tibco EBX are a plus.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with other MDM tools or data integration platforms.
