About the position

As a Data Migration Developer at Windsor Solutions, Inc., you will play a vital role in a product implementation team, focusing on transforming and migrating data for environmental agencies. Your work will directly contribute to improving environmental outcomes by enabling clients to efficiently manage their data. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL (extract/transform/load) routines to migrate data from existing client systems into Windsor-developed products.
• Support existing clients by troubleshooting and correcting issues in database objects (procedures, functions, triggers).
• Gather requirements by interfacing with clients and collaborating with the project team.
• Develop new database objects to support enhanced product functionality.
• Migrate data based on gathered business requirements into the new Windsor platform.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a data migration developer.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server development (stored procedures, SQL queries, performance tuning).
• Strong understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools.
• Ability to retrieve, process, migrate, and transform data from various client source systems.
• Proficiency in developing code using PowerShell and T-SQL.
• Understanding of data models including relational, dimensional, entity-relationship, logical, and physical.
