About the position
The Data Migration/Power BI Developer will be responsible for migrating data from older legacy databases to a new Data Warehouse built in SQL Server and Azure. This role involves creating and modifying Power BI reports post-migration. The position is a contract role lasting 3-4 months, requiring strong analytical and reporting skills, with an emphasis on data migration and Power BI development.
Responsibilities
- Migrate data from legacy databases to a new Data Warehouse.
- Develop and modify Power BI reports based on migrated data.
- Utilize SQL Server and SSIS for data migration tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL development.
- Proficiency in data migration, particularly using SSIS.
- Experience with Power BI for report development and data analysis.
- Familiarity with MS Azure is a major plus.

- Experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect.
