About the position

The Data/ML Engineer position at Insight Global involves working with a major retail client to support and maintain the Workday system within the HR IT organization. The role focuses on processing unstructured data, cleansing it, and applying supervised machine learning models to enhance data patterns and insights.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Workday system within the HR IT organization.
• Cleansing unstructured data and transforming it into structured formats.
• Identify and suggest appropriate supervised models for data analysis within Workday.
• Collaborate with team members to improve data processing workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
• Background in back-end Java development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Python.
• Knowledge of data patterns and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Vertex AI.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working within an HRIS system, particularly Workday.
• Experience in a retail environment.
