About the position

The Data Model/Data Architect position is designed for an experienced professional who will be responsible for designing and implementing data models and architectures that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with a focus on real-life applications and scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models that meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions using best practices.
• Manage ETL processes to load fact tables and handle slowly changing dimensions (SCDs).
• Write complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions.
• Utilize Azure Medallion Architecture for data management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Modeling Concepts, including Relational and Dimensional Models.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Warehouse Concepts and Implementation with real-life scenarios.
• 7+ years of ETL knowledge, specifically in loading fact tables and managing history for SCDs.
• 7+ years of strong SQL writing and data analysis skills.
• 5+ years of knowledge in Azure Medallion Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with Data Modeling Tools, specifically Erwin.
