About the position

The Data Modeler / Architect position at Donato Technologies involves leading and participating in database management activities, focusing on designing complex logical and physical databases. The role requires expertise in data modeling, data integration, and metadata management, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Oracle and PowerDesigner tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database engineering and a solid understanding of cloud technologies and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in database management activities including designing highly complex logical and physical databases.
• Lead highly complex data modeling, mapping, data integration and business/technical metadata efforts.
• Conduct design reviews with business and technology stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis and data profiling.
• Utilize industry-standard data modeling tools for operational and analytic data stores.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Oracle Database Engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle design reviews effectively.
• Expertise in data modeling for operational and analytic data stores using techniques such as denormalization and star schema.
• Experience with data analysis and data profiling.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Azure and/or GCP.
• Familiarity with streaming data patterns and semi-structured data formats including JSON and AVRO.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with PowerDesigner is a must.
• Experience with Erwin Data Intelligence is a plus.
