About the position

The Data Network Analyst at Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC) plays a crucial role in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) clients by providing assessments, data analysis, and documentation development. This hybrid position emphasizes accountability, effective communication, and teamwork, while requiring a strong understanding of cyber threats and mitigation strategies. The Analyst will contribute to enhancing security for military and commercial partners through various services, including telecommunications mapping and critical infrastructure assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren (NSWCD) Mission Assurance Division with telecommunications mapping and mission assurance tasks.
• Develop site reports identifying telecommunications infrastructure vulnerabilities and provide executable recommendations.
• Review and advise on policies and directives to improve data networking and telecommunications best practices.
• Participate in conferences, working groups, and meetings as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and perform to the standards set in the job description.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Network, or Telecommunications field.
• 4-10 years of experience in the IT, Network, or Telecommunications field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and work independently on multiple tasks.
