About the position

The Data Operations Analyst at CEA CAPA is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and sharing data insights with key stakeholders across the company. This role emphasizes data analysis, visualization, and interpretation, focusing on delivering accurate forecasting and identifying operational efficiencies. The analyst will also provide executive leadership and board reporting on company performance, ensuring data accuracy and clarity in reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Build reports and dashboards that clearly present information, enabling stakeholders to understand and act on the data.
  • Assess data sets efficiently to identify trends, summarize key insights, and provide valuable information to the team.
  • Independently recognize critical insights within the data and communicate them effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by organizing and maintaining data sets, and building basic tables, visualizations, and models to support business reporting needs.
  • Analyze revenue performance metrics across departments, including sales funnel performance, customer retention, pipeline velocity, and revenue forecasting, delivering regular reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and highlight key trends or insights from our data, providing stakeholders with easily understandable findings to inform their work.
  • Pay close attention to detail to quickly catch and address any data discrepancies.
  • Support the maintenance, improvement, and customization of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure data accuracy and facilitate sales processes.
  • Develop and refine reports and dashboards to track performance and provide visual summaries that clearly explain data insights.
  • Maintain data hygiene and quality across systems, ensuring that data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies by conducting regular audits and clean-up as needed.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that help stakeholders understand the data's impact on their work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a data-focused role, or a strong ability to work with and interpret data from academic or related experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI is a plus).
  • Ability to learn reporting tools as needed.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Strong data literacy and analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly assess data and extract actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly explain data trends and insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI is a plus).
