About the position

The Data Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data processes within the P&G Target Customer team. This position focuses on ensuring data integrity, providing exceptional support to end users, and enhancing overall team efficiency through effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the process for categorizing and organizing data based on predefined criteria such as store, product, date, etc.
  • Proactively onboard new team members to the data ecosystem and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Assist users in utilizing Power BI reports and building visuals, including familiarity with semantic models, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Serve as the first level of support on the data & analytics help desk, ensuring timely responses to help desk tickets.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and prevent recurring issues in data management.
  • Follow established protocols for granting or revoking user access to systems and data sets.
  • Assist during Information Security audits and reviews related to access management.
  • Handle administrative tasks, project work, documentation, and other activities related to ongoing projects or service needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including foundational knowledge of semantic models, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Proven experience in data management, end user support, and project management is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Python is a plus, though not required.
