About the position

The Vice President Data Owner role within the Card Data Products team at JPMorgan Chase is pivotal for driving innovation through strategic data utilization. This position focuses on ensuring data quality and protection while supporting business operations and analytics projects, particularly through the integration of AI/ML capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create plans for the development and delivery of Data Products to support strategic business objectives.
• Work with key partners to drive an understanding of the data and its use within the business.
• Provide subject matter expertise regarding AI capabilities and data usage in products.
• Identify the scope of critical data within products and ensure proper documentation and classification.
• Support the Data & Analytics lead by identifying data for integration into analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Partners, and cross-functional teams to resolve data issues.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks related to protection, retention, storage, use, and quality.
• Comply with Firmwide policies regarding data integrity and protection.
• Meet milestones for Data Product delivery by addressing risks and inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Experience working with Graph Databases, AI/ML tools, Public Cloud technologies, and large scale Data Lakes.
• Experience with data consumption, data analysis, and analytics use cases.
• 6+ years of industry experience in a data-related field.
• Understanding of Agile technological development methodology.
• Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Structured thinker with good business acumen.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a senior audience.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex business processes to Data Product development teams.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience working within a Credit Card organization.
• Experience and/or knowledge of the JPMorgan Chase data ecosystem.
• Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, and data architecture.
• AI/ML Certifications.
