We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Architect with a deep understanding of the Azure cloud platform to lead the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business acumen to drive data-driven decision-making. This role is critical in defining and implementing the overall data architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and adheres to industry best practices. The Data Platform Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust and scalable data platform on the Azure cloud, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and more. In this position, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and delivering data solutions that meet their needs. Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security is paramount, and you will implement appropriate data governance and compliance measures to achieve this. You will also develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading into data warehouses and data marts, while optimizing platform performance and cost-efficiency through continuous monitoring and improvement. As a technical leader, you will provide mentorship to data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Staying up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends will be essential to ensure the organization remains competitive in the data landscape.
