About the position

The Sabre Legal organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in assisting with the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of global privacy policies, procedures, requirements, and notices. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in conducting annual assessments of the global privacy program, identifying areas of opportunity, and designing and implementing improvements to ensure compliance with global privacy laws. In this position, you will assist in managing our OneTrust Privacy Management Platform, providing training and support to teams in their use of the platform. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering enterprise-wide and role-based privacy training, with input from key stakeholders. Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Data Subject Rights program will be a key responsibility, along with maintaining records of processing activities and data processing inventory. Engagement with other legal and business teams is essential, as you will provide guidance to ensure that privacy considerations are integrated into project planning and daily operations. Additionally, you will assist in providing privacy guidance and requirements for the onboarding and offboarding of third-party vendors, manage and maintain privacy metrics reporting, and oversee the external-facing Contact Privacy inbox.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of global privacy policies, procedures, requirements, and notices.
  • Conduct annual assessments of the global privacy program, identifying areas of opportunity and designing improvements for compliance with global privacy laws.
  • Manage the OneTrust Privacy Management Platform, including training and assisting teams in its use.
  • Develop and deliver enterprise-wide and role-based privacy training with input from key stakeholders.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Data Subject Rights program.
  • Maintain records of processing activities and data processing inventory.
  • Engage and liaise with legal and business teams to integrate privacy considerations into project planning and operations.
  • Provide privacy guidance for onboarding and offboarding third-party vendors.
  • Manage and maintain privacy metrics reporting.
  • Oversee the external-facing Contact Privacy inbox.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of information security and data protection.
  • One or more IAPP certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) preferred.
  • OneTrust experience, knowledge, and certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with US, EU, and other global privacy laws and regulations, such as CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
  • Experience supporting privacy and consent management, individual rights, compliance processes, policies, reporting, and controls.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and articulate strategy for process improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
