About the position

The Data Privacy/Data Governance Project Manager will manage and support the Data Privacy Event Management team, focusing on project execution, operational processes, and privacy event management/reporting. The role involves enhancing breach response services and assisting Financial Line Units (FLUs) during complex events, ensuring effective integration and evolution of response services. Additionally, the position includes supporting operational sustainment, investigating data privacy breaches, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support priorities for the Data Privacy Event Management team.
  • Provide project execution support and sustain operational processes.
  • Support the maturation of end-to-end breach response services.
  • Assist FLUs during high volume and high complexity events.
  • Investigate data privacy breaches and assign events to Event Managers.
  • Present evidence and findings to stakeholders and Data Privacy Event Managers.
  • Support operational sustainment issues.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of industry experience in Data Governance and Data Privacy.
  • Experience in developing processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of risk and audit management.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in the financial industry.
