The Data Privacy Business Analyst will support business and data analyst functions within the front-line data privacy organization. This role serves as a key liaison between line of business (LOB) application teams and the Data Privacy Technology Delivery team, providing strategy and direction to support the development of solutions for interfacing business applications. The analyst will drive the identification and mitigation of data privacy risks as necessary to support organizational priorities. Additionally, the position supports the need for automation for all deliverables, focusing on process efficiency and effectiveness. In a direct leadership capacity, the Data Privacy Business Analyst will influence collaboration, communication, and outcomes of various initiatives. The role includes project management responsibilities for parallel projects and initiatives, and it is responsible for defining and producing operational and productivity metrics that focus on regulatory matters. The analyst may oversee the work, train, and coach other Business Analysts and/or contingent workers. Candidates must be located in either Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA, and the position requires in-office attendance four days a week. Essential duties include serving as a key liaison between the Data Privacy front line team and LOBs, collaborating with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document, and communicate business and technical needs, and facilitating engagements with various stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Enterprise Architecture. The analyst will also provide status reporting and create presentations for senior leaders, facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, perform current state data analysis, and develop effective working relationships with application teams to support user acceptance testing of solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
