About the position

We are in search of a Data Processing Clerk II to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry of data processing. As a Data Processing Clerk II, your main function will be to collect, review, and input data into a computer processing system, while also auditing the output data. This position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data processed within the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining and revising lists, control records, and coding schemes to process source data effectively. Additionally, you will audit output data to confirm that control totals are correct, ensuring that all data entries are accurate and reliable. In this role, you will also review files, tabulate results, prepare statistical reports, and maintain indexes and related files. Your attention to detail will be essential as you process and distribute output forms and reports. Engaging in coding activities, calculating and checking batch totals, and performing related clerical tasks will be part of your daily responsibilities. This position requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and problems while referring more complex issues to higher-level staff. A beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter is expected, and you will be supported in your role to ensure you can perform your tasks effectively.
