About the position

The Data Product Manager with Scrum Master role is focused on advocating and coaching Agile scrum processes while serving as a Scrum Master for up to two Agile teams. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, effective project planning, and adherence to Agile methodologies to ensure successful software development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate and coach Agile scrum processes ensuring adherence to the framework.
  • Serve as Scrum Master for up to two Agile teams.
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, daily standup meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings.
  • Escalate and resolve impediments, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution.
  • Leverage data to measure and monitor progress against commitments.
  • Guide the Scrum Team on using Agile Scrum practices and values to meet program objectives.
  • Act as an advisor or ad-hoc coach to those new to Agile methodology, guiding them in the adoption of Agile software development practices.

Requirements

  • Good to Have PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
  • Good to Have Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
  • Experience with in-depth knowledge of Scrum and implementation of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum management, sprint, and release planning.
  • Understanding of and experience with Software Development Life Cycles, utilizing an Agile approach to software development.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to work with diverse personality types.
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to gain credibility and influence decision makers and influencers across boundaries without direct authority.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
